Take Control.

Take Control.

Anxiety is a feeling that is hard to describe, its the feeling of unease, not relaxed, and I like to explain it as the 'Feeling of Dread' meaning I think something is going to happen and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Anxiety can affect everyone, but for some people, it can be hard to control.

Most people don't understand anxiety, like some people don't understand the off side rule, once its been explained once or maybe twice, you will find people will start understanding how you're feeling, so the next step is down to YOU.

If you can't control you're own anxiety, how can you expect anyone else too, so for once be selfish, make sure you're okay before anyone else. Signs of having an anxiety attack;
 - Heart race has increased
- Sweaty hands
-Hyperventilation
-Becoming dizzy
-Sickness
-'Jelly legs'

So many more, but for me those are the main ones, there are a few ways you can take control;

Breathing Techniques
So, so, so helpful, I cannot stress enough how breathing properly helps subside a panic attack, if you are not breathing properly you are hyperventilating, meaning you are not getting enough oxygen into your body, therefore your lips may start tingling which in affect will most probably make you panic more. Google breathing techniques for anxiety, so many results will appear and you can find which is the best for calming you down.

EXERCISE!
My doctor has told me she wants me to get out everyday, even if it is for a walk around the block, the exercise and fresh air helps clear your head and makes you think clearer, if you don't want to go on your own, go with someone close to you.

Think Positive
If you feel a panic attack coming, think positive, think what is the worse that can happen? you're having a panic attack it will subside and nothing major can happen.

Say NO to caffeine
Caffeine makes your heart beat faster, which obviously is not the best if you have anxiety, you do not want something in your system which will make you worse.

Seek help.
Be it from your doctor or contacting a therapist, once you have someone to talk to you it makes it easier to accept it.

TAKE CONTROL.
Once you realise you can control your anxiety, take it from me, life gets so much better.

I've done another post about anxiety as they are getting more views so I'm hoping I'm helping someone out there.

Until next time

Favourite Movies!

Favourite Movies!

Hi guys!

I just want to talk about my favourite NON Disney movies, I haven't added them in as I will be doing a blog about my favourite Disney movies in the near future! Anyway!

Number 1
'The Sound of Music'
Ever since I was little I have been obsessed with The Sound of Music, I love musicals and I have even seen it on stage! Everything about the movie I love, I used to watch it on VHS at my nans every Sunday,  I know all the words, pretty much all the script, if you love a good musical and a good romantic film this is honestly the best option, also Julie Andrews is in it, who is AMAZING.

Number 2.
'The Breakfast Club'
I just love how simple the story line is in this film, yet its really good, who knew? A film about kids in detention could be so good! I think its funny and I love all the characters, especially the ending! Would recommend watching!

Number 3.
'Mrs Doubtfire'
This was the film I watched straight after The Sound of Music on a Sunday when I was at my nans when I was a kid, I think it was such a funny film and great story line, and of course Robin Williams made that film, I absolutely loved Robin Williams and in all honesty he was the reason I watched that film, and it broke my heart when he passed away.

Number 4&5.
'Mary Poppins' & 'Saving Mr Banks'
There is a reason these are two together, I love Mary Poppins, I used to watch this every week at my house, I loved everything about it, the story line, the imagination factor, everything about it made me smile. Obviously Saving Mr Banks came out last year, this film is about the woman who wrote Mary Poppins, its honestly the one film that can make me cry every time I watch it, it is nothing like Mary Poppins, its quite dark and lonely, is a way I would describe it, but if you love Mary Poppins you HAVE to watch it, it is such an eye opener, and will make you cry.

Number 6.
'Dangerous Minds'
Last but not least, I love this film, I think I come across it a few years ago when I was up late at night an looking for something to watch, this is such a hard hitting film, I love it, it did make me cry at the end the first time but from then I only tear up, it is a film I can watch over and over again.

Anyway, if you have any films to recommend, let me know in the comments, and try these ones!

Until next time

Confidence and anxiety.

Dealing with anxiety and confidence.

Hi Guys!

Dealing with anxiety alone can be difficult, not been able to talk to someone about how you are feeling because of your anxiety or just not been able to do anything because your anxiety is holding you back, is quite frankly the shittest feeling I have ever experienced.

I can't go out the door without checking that I've got everything about 4 times, because I'm worried that if something goes wrong when I'm out and I haven't got enough money, or my phone or my house keys something will go really wrong. Along with anxiety I have confidence issues too, yes I know at least 99.9% of people in the world have confidence issues but paired with anxiety is just horrible, some days I don't want to leave the house because I am so shit scared of what people are thinking of me, of what my hair looks like, what I'm wearing and what my makeup looks like. And today, I have been feeling the lowest I have been for a while, and I confide in my friends, which is advisable because your friends and your partners are there for a reason, to confide in, to let you know you're not alone.

Anyway, as I was saying, my friend, who I shan't name as she might not want to be has given me the best advice I have been given in a long time, and basically its to not let anyone get you down, you take the stage, you be the person you want to be, don't be someone who you don't want to be, basically don't let no bitch get you down, it isn't all about looks and big assets, its about what YOU are about who YOU are.

What I am trying to say is, if you aren't confident or you are dealing with anxiety, or both, do not let it get you down, do not be defeated by that demon inside of you. When you walk, you strut, if you want to 100 selfies, you take them selfies, don't let anyone say 'You say you're not confident, yet you take photos of yourself?' maybe thats helping build your confidence, why should they know how you're feeling? WALK AROUND LIKE YOU OWN THE PLACE.

I am really hoping that this little rant/vent/advice is helping people, because in all honesty, my friend has really helped me tonight, and I am going to bed with that feeling of 'I am my own person, I don't need any one else's permission to be what I want to be.' You start believing in yourself, others wont need to question it.

These images are about confidence and anxiety, I hope at least someone takes something away from this.

2015!

2015!

Hi Guys!

As you all obviously know, its 2015!! and I want to talk about what I'm taking with me into 2015, what I'm leaving behind in 2014 and what I want to begin doing now!

What I want to leave in 2014!
Right as you all know, I suffered so bad last year with my anxiety and how low I was feeling, I want to leave all that negativity in 2014. I want to leave behind all the bad thoughts and all the bad times. I want to leave behind everything that made me sad!

What I want to bring with me in 2015!
I want to bring you guys! This blog has made me feel so much more confident and happy, I love writing these, it just feels like I'm letting out everything and someone, even if its just one person or 1000 of you I love writing to you guys! I also want to bring happiness, I am happy sometimes, and I want to bring positive thinking with me, it'll make the year positive and thats what I want! I want to bring my happy relationship into 2015, my boyfriend makes me the happiest person alive, when I'm not with him, I miss him. Enough with the soppiness.

What I want to begin doing!
Right, this is the biggie, this is important to me, because every 3 months I'm going to update my blog, with if I am still doing these!

1.) Do at least, or even more, of 10 hours college work a week!
I want to start my life, move out, be independent, I can't do that with the wages I'm on at the moment, I am so close to finishing my second to last assignment, then I will be a full time Teaching assistant! But to do this, I need to do all my college work, so I am determined to schedule out everyday what part I'm doing and when I'm doing it!

2.) Lose weight and get fit!
YES YES I know,we all make this resolution every year and stick to it for what? 2 hours? I am going to do it this year, I want to be fit, I want to feel healthy and not sluggish! I want to be able to walk my dog and not feel like, excuse my language, like shit when I get home, its not right at 21. I mean, I have a gym membership for a reason, right?

3.) Write down a line of positive thoughts a day.
This just is something small that I think will just help me, I have a little notebook and loads of different coloured pens! It'll just make me happy.

4.) Eat healthy and only have one treat day a week!
This ties in with number 2, it makes me feel better eating fruit and salad, I don't know why, but my downfall is crisps, if I could live off of crisps I would. So I just want to eat my meals and fruit as snacks! Then once a week have a treat day, not go OTT and eat everything in my cupboard like theres no tomorrow, but just so I'm not getting bored of all the same fruit.

So in three months, I will look back on these and update you all, whether it has happened or not!
If you have any resolutions why not let me know in the comments?

Until next time

Lush!!

Lush bath bombs!

Hi guys!

I love Lush so much! I just love having baths, I'm not a shower person, they make me feel cold, I'd much rather lie in the bath read a book and listen to music, its my relaxing time!

For christmas I got quite a few bath bombs for christmas! I want to go through my favourite products that I've used so far!

I had a Father Christmas one for christmas, I do find the whole bath bomb look a bit creepy but you get used to it haha! I was expecting the water to be pink, so much to my astonishment when I came back into my bathroom o check on my water, I found it was blue! It was such a lovely blue aswell! When I got in I could smell the bath bomb and I felt it on my skin so when I was washing I could smell it on me, when I got out the bath you could still smell it on me and now I was walking round the house, smelling my arm every now and again, also it cleaned out my bath and didn't leave a stain like some other high street brands do...I do believe that this is only a seasonal thing and they are only out at chritsmas, like snow fairy. But when the time comes again, I do recommend buying it!
(Image selected from google)

Next I want the talk about I think its called the golden wonder, I have some issues with this one but on a whole the look and smell is amazing, also this one turns your water a turquoise colour, and when it has completely dissolved there are little stars floating in the water, which I think could be good as a present for children, would make bath times so much fun, my only draw back is the amount of glitter which is left in your water, which is fine, if I didn't feel like a walking fairy when I got out, I was shimmering all night! but other than that I think this is also a seasonal product which you can only get at Christmas but the smell was awesome and stayed on my skin until the next day when I had another bath!

Next I want to talk about the Sex Bomb! This is my favourite! It smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and leaves little flower leaves (repleca soap ones) in my bath, it just thought it was so cute and smells again awesome, it doesn't leave any mess in the bath you just get out and smell perfect! Thats all I can say on this one really because theres no negatives! The look, the colour an the smell are all just spot on!
(Image selected from google)

The last one is Think Pink bath bomb, like sex bomb I have nothing negative about this, it left my skin feeling amazing and smelt beautiful, it also left little love hearts in my bath, which yet again I thought was so good, especially if this was bought for children or a person who just wants to pamper themselves, it leaves no mess in my bath and leaves an amazing feel/smell on my skin!

All in all minus the present one I loved everything about every one of these bath bombs, I still like the present one, just wish there was less glitter, I mean I would love to become a fairy, but not right now! If you want to look at any more bath bombs go onto the lush website, they have pictures and descriptions of their products!

If you want to leave any recommendations or feedback, please do in the comments!

Until next time

Favourite TV shows!

My favourite TV Shows/Series!

Hi guys!

Just thought I'd do a random out of the blue little update!

I'm currently watching so many different Tv series, thought I'd share them with you!!

Pretty Little Liars!
I am so so obsessed with this TV show I love anything mystery that keeps you on edge, I can't really go into much details because Spoilers! But its about a group of 5 girls, and one dies, they then live the next 2 years by someone following them called A who they believe 'killed' Ally. It is so worth the watch and not hard to get into at all, it gets you right from the beginning, there are 5 series but I do binge watch them!

Orange is the New Black!
I know this is old, but I love it and eeeep theres a new series coming out in June, its so funny, and soooo addictive I think I watched the first 2 seasons in about 2 weeks, I obviously have an amazing social life.

Broadchurch!
This is back the 5th January, its a British based drama, the first series was so good they weren't planning on making a second series, I suggest you go watch them quickly! Its bout a boy who goes missing and there trying to find his killer, cannot go into any more detail because more spoilers!

The Missing!
Yet again this is another British drama, which is 8 episodes long, it is so addicted and has you on the edge of your seat start to finish! Its on BBC 1 (England) and again is about a Missing little boy and the last episode was amazing!! I cant go into much detail but I would recommend it!

Gogglebox!
Oh my god, this is my faourite show and I'm so sad its finished its latest series, its a tv show where we watch people watching tv, sounds boring? No, it is so funny, it lets you see on how people react to recent weeks tv shows, its full of comedy and kind of makes you see if your reaction was a one off or if people share your opinions!

Thats my top 5 at the moment, I would suggest to everyone to go see if you can watch them.

Until next time
